After #37 and #38 merge, we should take a look at the current shape of WaycastDaemon and figure out a cleaner way to integrate it with the now existing application container.

WaycastDaemon was the initial attempt at having a long running background process for waycast. Its current design is rough and hard to reliably observe and extend. We should figure out what pieces to move up in the ownership chain, and which pieces to leave abstracted inside it.
